Travel Theme: Boulder City’s Statue Trail

FrogStatue: The Kiss by Kim Kori

When I read Ailsa had chosen statues as this weeks Travel Theme it reminded me of Boulder City’s annual public art scrape.

The public outdoor exhibition in the picturesque Nevada town displays sculptures owned by individual artists that are loaned to Boulder City to be enjoyed by its residents, whilst for visitors it creates the perfect trail to discover and explore the historic old town.

Afternoon BreezeStatue: Afternoon Breeze by Roy Butler
